Joint Entrance Examination – Main , formerly All India Engineering Entrance Examination , is an examination organised by the National Testing Agency in India . National Testing Agency ( NTA ) conducting JEE Main examination twice in a year for admission in engineering colleges in India . NTA conducting JEE Main examination in the month of January and April every year due to COVID – 19 , April 2020 examination got extended and conducted in September 2020 . According to media sources NTA can announce the examination date for JEE Main January 2021 anytime may be last week of November 2020 . The application will be online mode only . Candidates will get a chance to correct the application form and after submitted successfully online application form they will get information about when can download the admit card and examination schedule etc .
